Douglas Adams, author of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy "a trilogy in five parts" has been honored by having an asteroid christened after him. Named Douglasadams, it was found in sector DA42 2001. Which is fitting because it includes all this (Douglas Adams, the answer to Life the Universe and Everything, and then 2001 was the year in which he passed away.) There is also an asteroid named Arthurdent that was named in his honor back in 2001.
